  • On Instagram the popularity of a particular hashtag is equal to the frequency of its use.
    The frequency of use is the number of posts on Instagram with a specific hashtag.

  • 2018, the year in which I was able again to run on a regular basis after more than 2 years of suffering from injury. I didn t manage to get as far as I had hoped, but why did I allow myself to hope for more than just being able to run I m not disapointed, just a bit impatient I guess. Now I am trying to go for a daily run of(at least) 2k. By doing this I hope to build a basis from which I can progress further. My main goal for 2019 though: run 1000k! That means on average 20k a week and even if I start with 10k average the first quarter, I have to do 22k in the remaining 3. It seems doable. Just going to give it a shot

E.g. You want to improve your endurance so you can run a half marathon- Measurable. E.g. I can measure the progress and accomplishment of my goal through the distance and speed of my runs running the half marathon.- Attainable. E.g. considering your own endurance and time to train, a half marathon is attainable.- Relevant. E.g. Exercising more is part of living healthier, which is important to you.- Time-bound.   • D E A D L I F T S- Teaching and correcting people s deadlift is one of my favourite things as an advanced trainer!- Firstly, my mentee is usually nervous and scared of breaking their back. this is the fun part! Within 2 minutes they suddenly realise there s nothing to be afraid of and that they re stronger than they thought they- However, I usually always realise that my client has one or multiple faults in their form and this is usually due to many years of poor posture and multiple workouts using bad exercise technique- The take home message here is not that an exercise is particularly bad. It s that your body hasn t(yet) adapted itself to being able to perform that exercise. Having a coach or trainer guide you through the right technique can help you to break past plateaus!- Oh P.S. many people have been contemplating my white teeth reverently, and it s all thanks to the most professional dentist I ve ever come across.anish.morjaria(he s the one learning deadlifts above!) go and check him out!-.

  • 2018, let s go! Excited to enter into the final year of a 3 year transformation. Identify. Learn. Action. Sasha and I have identified 7 Territories of Life that we believe make up a healthy personal life, relationship, and home for our family. Those are, Family-Friends-Finance-Fitness-Food(Health,had a solid F thing going)-Faith-Freedom. 2 Years ago we decided we wanted to ensure we were creating a foundation to ensure we were constantly growing those 7 Territories so we created a 3 year plan. 2016- Take the year to identify all of the weaknesses involved in those 7 Territories. Where we are personally weak and where we are weak together. 2017- Take those identified weaknesses and go learn relentlessly through those that are stronger than us in areas via mentors or friends/family, books, documentaries, podcasts, etc. absolutely anything that would make us stronger and provide data points on how to make those weaknesses more efficient. 2018- We know exactly what needs to be done, the only battle left is our Self vs Ego in all situations. Why a picture of our Home Gym Our hypothesis in 2016 was that in order to provide growth in the 7 Territories, everything started with ourselves. We believed that if we focused on health through Whole 30 and Keto then fitness through workouts and cardio that it was the absolute foundation to help grow all other areas. So far. we like the results we are seeing and why we are even more excited for 2018 because the plan has never been more clear to have the best year yet! Many people have asked me how I made the transition to Los Angeles with a secured job and a relocation package. I remember it vividly, it was a year after my grandma passed and I decided to make a visit to the West Coast. So many people had told me that based on my demeanor I would love the city of Los Angeles. After my initial visit I fell in love with L.A. and was determined to relocate. I began making phone calls and researching companies that had satellite offices in Los Angeles within my field. Making the transition was all I could think about at that time and a few months after returning to NYC, a previous boss reached out in regards to a position available at an agency she was working at and to my surprise they had an opening for a position in Los Angeles that would allow me to relocate. In March of 2014, I took the position, a few months later my dreams were crushed as they announced the client was leaving and my transition to L.A. would be postponed or not happen at all.   • Today we are going to be talking about physical habits. These three categories all work together, and good physical habits in each can help us be healthier and more energized. x SLEEP One very important thing for sleep is having a routine. When an individual sticks to going to sleep and waking up at the same time, it helps them sleep quicker and better. Ritual is also very important! Doing something like reading a book for 15 minutes(The Power of Habit anyone Check out my post from yesterday!) before bed can be really beneficial. When you create that habit it gets your mind and body ready for bed when you get in bed and start reading. A morning routine can also be really beneficial in getting you awake and ready for the day. One great example would be stretching! Finally, make sure to avoid caffeine six hours before bed. It is also helpful to avoid screentime(phone, tablet, laptop) before bed. x EATING Eating healthy is a major goal for a lot of people, especially in the new year. It can be challenging for many, but one way I think is good to start is by creating healthy eating habits instead of trying to overhaul a new diet from day one. One really good rule of thumb is the 80/20 rule. This means that you get about 80 of your food from whole foods.(Fruits, veggies, egg s, rice, beans, lean meat, etc) and 20 from fun foods(Ice cream, pizza, french fries) Eating healthy shouldn t be about cutting out everything you enjoy eating, it s about creating good habits and including healthy food with the food you enjoy! It can also be very beneficial to plan out your meals ahead of time every week and to make sure you re making most of the food you are eating, so that you know what you are really eating! x FITNESS Getting to the gym can be very difficult sometimes! One major tip is to be prepared and make it apart of your day. Lay out your cloths the night before if you are planning to go in the morning. Make it apart of your day instead of something additional that you have to do.
