  • On Instagram the popularity of a particular hashtag is equal to the frequency of its use.
    The frequency of use is the number of posts on Instagram with a specific hashtag.

  • The more popular a hashtag set is, the more likes and followers you can get from it.
    At the same time, the more popular a set of hashtags, the faster you have to add it to the description of the post or comment to it, because the feed of hashtags is chronological and posts on more popular hashtags quickly replace each other at the top of the feed.
How to understand and use color codes (red, orange, yellow)?

  • The other week I spoke on a panel at a premed event hosted at my medical school. It was an opportunity for prospective applicants to get advice from current medical students who had gone through the application cycle. The event also consisted of mock interviews. I thought my interviewees did a great job overall. Some advice I gave after their interviews included: Know what you want to say for each of the commonly asked questions. This does not mean you have to have scripted answers, but if you are asked your biggest weakness, you should already know what you want to talk about rather than having to think about it on the spot. Make eye contact throughout- Sometimes when trying to think of an answer your eyes may wonder without even realizing. Try to work on making good eye contact with your interviewer throughout the interview. The best way to practice this is with mock interviews! Be Yourself- The interview is the best opportunity admissions committees have to truly see who you are. You do not need to try to impress them with big words or analogies when you talk.   • Decided to go heavier today on squats, doing a few sets with 405. It definitely felt good to be under that weight after my injury last year. It gave me the confidence I had back. We made it today I wanna talk about BALANCE. some days I eat super healthy& clean, and other days I have whatever my body is craving because I have learned a lot about intuitive eating& those days you are craving fried falafel and fries I say GO for it. There is nothing wrong with eating what your body is craving. I ve learned to stop calorie counting& FUEL my body with healthy Whole Foods. I have gone through so many stages of dieting, where I eat under 1000 calories or juice cleanses where it NEVER works. but now I am finally at a time in my life where I am happy with myself, the size that I am, and finally free from always feeling guilty about eating. I never will be a size two but I know I am strong& HAPPY. That s all that counts. My advice is to ENJOY life, and indulge on the weekends. 80/20 rule is so important to me. happy Friday& happy WEEKEND

  • First entire day home went great. Just got home from a visit to the ER because the pressure on my right side became too much and the drain didn t seem to do it s job properly. 2 hours later, surgeon looked at it and cleaned my drain out and put a new vacuumcup on the end. Like I thought, there were a couple blood clots blocking the drain. The pain is managable. Not too bad actually. I am able to sit and walk. I am exhausted. Like really really tired. But overall. today was amazing. I cannot stop smiling.

  • One week till surgery! New shirt Today I have felt truely happy. The best I ve felt in the last 13 years. On friday 13th. I have felt true happines. And it feels amazing. I have made it. Deep down something inside me definitly thought I would be worth it in the end. And I feel that now. I ve had such battles and fights with myself. And on Wednesday I was ready to blow it all off. And today. I am grateful I didn t. I am grateful in general for now. For my past, present and future self. I am happy. I am looking forward to surgery. I am worth it. I am important enough. I am not a burden. I am not too much or too complicated. I am enough. And I thank my past self for going on. Every minute. I am valid. So are my feelings. I am enough. Again: without you, no me. Without battle, no victory. And with you I mean without my past self. And all the people around me right at this moment. And the victory is achieving happiness.

  • I recently lost a VIP in my life. A young KING who was murdered at the age of 19. He was the type of person you just had to like or appreciate. Selfless, Humble, and Loving. At the age of 16 he jumped onto the MBTA train tracks from the opposite platform to help a man that fell, stating: I didn t care if I died at least I did something tried to save somebody s life His last day here, he went to our family at the church we grew up at. Because of my work schedule, I had not visited in some time and was unable to see him. I cannot recall the last time I saw him in person. Life has different ways of teaching us lessons. The greatest lesson to be learned was that no matter how busy, how difficult it may seem, or whatever differences we may have, we should do whatever it takes to spend time with those we love and who love us, as it can only be seconds before they re gone. If you have lost a loved one recently or ever, please remember they are more than the empty shell we call a body and they are NOT dead, but free, and live on through our hearts and souls.
