Method of calculating popularity and how to use it.
  • On Instagram the popularity of a particular hashtag is equal to the frequency of its use.
    The frequency of use is the number of posts on Instagram with a specific hashtag.
    It follows from this that the popularity of a set of hashtags is the total number of posts of all hashtags included in the set.
  • The more popular a hashtag set is, the more likes and followers you can get from it.
    At the same time, the more popular a set of hashtags, the faster you have to add it to the description of the post or comment to it, because the feed of hashtags is chronological and posts on more popular hashtags quickly replace each other at the top of the feed.
How to understand and use color codes (red, orange, yellow)?
  • Red - High popularity - More than 10,000,000.
  • Orange - Average popularity - More than 1,000,000 and less than 10,000,000.

  • Bodybuilding is the toughest, most mentally challenging sport there is. It s more than that, it s a lifestyle. To be successful you almost have to be selfish. You lose and sacrifice so much, you constantly fight against your own mind and thoughts. Constantly judging yourself. Comparing yourself to others, whether it be others out on the street or your idols on social media. Constantly I find myself doing this. Being unhealthily obsessed with your own image, although people outside the fitness world see it as being arrogant or obnoxious, we need to keep that state of mind to keep us in the game. Keep us hungry. The day we are 100 happy and satisfied with our body is the day we lose. Never be satisfied, there is ALWAYS more work to be done, more to grow, more to perfect. To get in on the other 2& all the back issues be sure to join our free facebook group linked in my bio But what about sleep It s often forgotten or discounted as less important, but the truth is, to get the most from both your nutrition& training you want to get good quality& sufficient sleep. However, sometimes it can be tough to guarantee sufficient sleep each night. Maybe we have to work late, or are out one evening or simply just stay up too late watching YouTube. Can we do anything about this Now whilst it is generally recommended to: Go to bed& wake at the same times each day. Get 7-9 hours on average each night. Not everything is lost if you cannot achieve the above, sufficient total sleep is better than not enough sleep for the week. This is where banking comes in, simply put; you sleep more some days& less others, so for the week as a whole you bank sufficient total sleep. Whilst this isn t recommended to be done all the time, it is a great way to ensure you re not missing out on a tonne of sleep& thus experiencing all the symptoms of insufficient sleep(of which there are countless!). So next time you miss out on some sleep, or know you re going to miss out, make sure to make up for it, by banking sleep before and/or after.   • () Energy systems 101 ATP-CP: During short, intense exercise a large amount of power needs to be produced thus creating a high demand for ATP(energy)& as the name implies, the ATP-CP system is the quickest way to resynthesize ATP(Robergs& Roberts 1997). To generate this rapid ATP, stored ceatine phosphate within skeletal muscle donates a P to ADP to produce ATP. In this system, no carbs, fat or O2 is used meaning that it is anaerobic with ATP regeneration coming solely from stored CP. Though the ATP-CP system may be the FASTEST way to resynthesize ATP, it is short lasted& muscular fatigue occurs rapidly due to the limited amount of stored CP& ATP within skeletal muscle. Therefore, this system is the predominant system during max exercise lasting 10-15s e.g. sprinting(Bogdanis1996). Anaerobic: When exercise continues longer than a few secs(usually 30s-2min), the energy to regenerate ATP is increasingly derived from glucose& glycogen stores(Pilegaard et al 1999).The increased rate of glucose-6-phosphate produced from glycogenolysis(breakdown of glycogen)& increased glucose uptake provides a rapid fuel source for a sequence of reactions leading to the formation of  pyruvate. Pyruvate can then be used for fuel as, for every molecule of pyruvate produced through glycolysis, 2xATP are produced(Brooks et al 2000). Again this process requires no O2, hence the name anaerobic& though less rapid than the ATP-CP system is still a more rapid way to regenerate ATP vs aerobic glycolysis(Greenhaff et al 1994) however the trade-off is that very little energy is produced(2ATP is nothing). Aerobic: As the most complex of the 3 systems, this system IS dependent on O2& begins after 2mins of exercise& is able to generate nearly endless amounts of ATP. ATP generation involves the processes of the Krebs cycle& electron transport in the mitochondria& unlike the first 2 systems, uses glucose, glycogen& FAT as fuel. However, due to its complex nature the aerobic energy system is very SLOW in generating ATP but produces LOTS of it at the end of the process with 36xATP created for every molecule of glucose broken down(Robergs

  • taking the last at last week s 2017 was a bit of a mixed bag, I had great races early on and the beginning of the end came when I suffered symphysis pubis very severely 12 k into a race back in March, which put an end to my training and left me feeling super frustrated, like so many other recreational athletes in their mid-30s, i would beat up my body without preserving and maintaining it properly it was all fun and challenging I have learned a lot through the recovering process and all this has made me more cautious with myself and it is a really good feeling to be back looking ahead to next week s

  • Hubs took a sweet picture of us at the Grand Canyon so I had to share, he s just too cute! So lately I haven t been feeling like doing any cardio at all except for hiking with the pup, and instead have been filling the extra hour of time with yoga. It doesn t give me the same kind of that only cardio can give, but it adds this unique that has me feeling very centered and at peace.   • After a full week of nothing but hiking for activity, this was me this morning for sure Though my muscles are relatively the same visually, I could definitely feel that hey had weakened over time. Sorry I ve been MIA for about two weeks now, but the hubs and I took a trip out into nature and I decided it should be completely technology free We went to Arches National Park, Canyon Lands, Monument Valley, The Grand Canyon, Zion AND Bryce, so we were busy! We spent the whole time hiking, exploring, eating, and enjoying everything about wonderful Mother Nature At one point we had to sleep in our car, we got lost hiking at night, and even saw scary tarantula spiders Even if you can t get out to a national park I highly recommend getting outdoors Back to the normal routine Monday

  • Facebook just informed me that this was SIX years ago! Back during a time when had no celebrities and cost me 160 instead of 400. This was before I ever went into treatment for my eating disorder, but obviously a time when I was beginning my steep decline. I was tired, I was underfed; I was in an abusive relationship with someone that assured me I wasn t worthy of a healthy life anyway, but out in this desert I was always happy Now I eat all the time, exercise to make myself feel good and not to lose weight. I do yoga to help me practice self-love and probably will never go back to the burn because I just don t think it will ever be as good as it was back in the day. Crazy to see how much six years can change you!

  • Went hiking with my little fur dude today It wasn t a long trek, but the two of us are wiped anyways! I ve been keeping up with my BBG as usual lately, but have sort of shifted gears from heavy weight lifting to yoga. When I really think about my goals and what I want to get out of exercise, the answer is balance and strength. I still plan to do weight lifting a few times a week, and then yoga more often because it forces me to connect with myself inside, which is what I need. ANYWAY keep on doing what y all do and get sweaty how you feel is best for you!

  • This week s is of my bedroom!(I know there isn t a before but picture yellowish walls, stained tan carpet, a single cheap light fixture, no wood paneling or anything) My husband has worked so so hard on this and it has turned out perfect He hand-nailed the African mahogany paneling on the wall, built the dresser out of figured cherry and the bed out of figured maple, installed the acacia wood floor, milled and installed the figured maple baseboards, installed the lights and now we re starting the bathroom! I painted and helped here and there We intend to leave no surface untouched, and I d say so far so good I felt stellar after my ride and BBG arms this morning, and have intermittently been doing booty workouts bc I can see that baby growing My favorite move of the day is sumo squat Tonight I m making Asian noodles for dinner and hopefully relaxing a bit.   • I can t believe I missed for this precious babe! He was so little Pippin is my heart, he is such a sweet little weirdo I ve been in a major funk lately due to family stressors(not my husband he is a gem) and changing jobs, and as such my energy has been non-existent. I ve been keeping up with BBG, but cardio has gone out the window almost completely. Yesterday I thought I would spend all day just sitting around and eating but I wound up doing killer BBG legs and an amazing 1 hour yoga sequence for back flexibility and I felt a million times better.
