Method of calculating popularity and how to use it.
  • On Instagram the popularity of a particular hashtag is equal to the frequency of its use.
    The frequency of use is the number of posts on Instagram with a specific hashtag.
    It follows from this that the popularity of a set of hashtags is the total number of posts of all hashtags included in the set.
  • The more popular a hashtag set is, the more likes and followers you can get from it.
    At the same time, the more popular a set of hashtags, the faster you have to add it to the description of the post or comment to it, because the feed of hashtags is chronological and posts on more popular hashtags quickly replace each other at the top of the feed.
How to understand and use color codes (red, orange, yellow)?
  • Red - High popularity - More than 10,000,000.
  • Orange - Average popularity - More than 1,000,000 and less than 10,000,000.
  • Yellow - Low popularity - Less than 1,000,000.

  • Sargood Special*3* Here are some of the activities I was able to do while staying 1. Quite a few times I borrowed the Batec, which is like a motorbike attachment for your wheelchair. Its very fun and makes getting around outside super easy. For me at home, personally I wouldn t get the use out of it as I live in an inner city(tiny) apartment, but around the beaches, parks or if you lived on land, this thing would be perfect. There s a para version and a quad version, depending on your hand function and it s quite easy to attach/detach to your wheelchair. 2. I went rock climbing, yes that s right! Look, honestly im not sure how much I did on my own but the recreation guys at Sargood are amazing at helping you do pretty much anything and everything possible! Requirements: good hand function. AHAHA I definitely do not but I still gave it a shot and the boys helped me get all the way to the top! 3. Kayaking on Narrabeen lake. Again, how much of this I actually did on my own Probably not a lot but I had a beautiful time taking in the views and being in the sun! I was in a double kayak, I m the one in the front. The Sargood guys have made a makeshift seat which just goes in the kayak and provides a bit more back support. Next time, I just need to bring along my gloves which help me grip better and I ll be able to assist more than I did! How strange is it that I actually feel like I m doing more outdoor activities in a wheelchair than before my accident!

  • I ve been filming outdoor HIIT workouts recently in some epic locations for an upcoming YouTube channel. As a physiotherapist(kiné) I often give the same core exercises(adapted to a patients needs) whether they are returning to high level sports, recovering from a broken leg or suffering from Parkinson s Disease(squats, lunges etc). Combing solid workouts with visually aesthetic footage(some epic drone shots) I hope this channel will allow me to reach, possibly inspire and improve the health and fitness of a much greater audience whilst allowing me to express my creative side!   • Instant gratification. We all want it. It is the forefront of societal norms. Whether it is two day shipping, read receipts, or fast food. The one thing we all are moving far away from is patience. It is the calm acceptance that not everything goes as we plan and comes as we want it to.   • I did it! I did it! I went on a 30-mile bike ride and with barely five minutes of rest, I hauled butt to the camp for an upperbody work out.   • I m on week 3 of my but more importantly I ve gained a new window into how to set better goals for 2018. I was invited to a goal setting seminar by peak performance coach Susan Hobson over the weekend. She clarified the difference between setting extrinsic vs intrinsic goals and it s going to change everything for me personally and how I work with clients this year. My initial goal for doing this weight training was to work on upper body definition and gain more muscle. This isn t a bad goal but it s a bit superficial and probably only going to offer me a few minutes of happiness in the grand scheme of things. I feel a lot more motivated when I take a step back and think about the things I value most and then frame my goal based on those desired feelings. For example, I really value my health, my fitness and my energy. I would like to feel stronger in 2018 because I have an action packed year ahead of me with my family. From skiing and running races to back country canoeing and maybe learning to surf, when I think about these great plans it s way more motivating than just going after defined triceps and also likely to be more sustainable.

  • It takes 21 days of being consistent to make it a habit. It takes 90 days of being consistent to make it a lifestyle. For the four to five months before I went away I worked so hard to create a healthier and happier life for myself. And I achieved that. I have a week left before I head back home and I honestly couldn t be more happier to get home. I miss my daily routine, I love to travel to new places and discover new things however I thrive off having a routine and when I travel it disrupts that. I honestly feel like all my hard work in the few months before my trip have all gone to waste in this month that I ve been away. I m enjoying myself with my family so in the end it s all worth it but it will be up to me to push myself harder when I get back to make up for all the lost time. I ve learnt from now on to take shorter vacations. But that s what this is all about- finding out what works for me and what allows me to live the happiest and healthiest life I can live. When I get back and get my routine back on track I ll be planning of getting a YouTube video out at least every week, I have been spending my spare time on this trip planning some great video content, starting with what I eat in a day, so keep an eye out for that!

  • Onto the start of week 5 of my PWR 12 week challenge. Last week was tough. Not enough hours in the day, not enough energy either because I struggled with a bad cold and didn t make it to the gym until Thursday, which meant I had to pack in the workouts in just 4 days. I also walked last week instead of running as I just wasn t up to it. I m not noticing any physical changes yet other than my pants may be a little looser around the waist. I know I am getting stronger though because I bumped up my weights by at least 5-10 pounds since starting the program. I m in the messy middle here where it would be easy to feel discouraged because the results are not coming fast enough but I m going to stick with it because I am really liking the workouts and the flexibility to do them on my own time and my own speed.

Minus beer not being in my Goose Island Brewery pint glass, I started off today with a pint of squeezed lemon with water to kick off my digestive system in a proper way while hydrating first thing in the AM, coffee with a little bit of stevia and almond milk as a substitute for creamer, and oatmeal made of quinoa and chia seeds with organic blueberries! 100 nutritious, 100 healthy, and 100 tasty. Prove me wrong You give it a try. Breakfast made simple and quick. I know meal prepping is hard but once you get the hang of it, you ll find more spare time instead of wasting time on figuring out what you re going to eat for that meal and you ll be saving a whole lotta dough
