Instagram hashtags for children, book, author, stem

All hashtags are grouped on 30 from the most popular to the least popular.

Why all hashtags are grouped on 30?
  • 30 is the maximum number of hashtags that you can add at once in the description or in the comments to the post according to the rules of Instagram.
How to use 30 hashtags in one post?
  • 1st way: copy the group of 30 hashtags, insert them into the description of the post, save.
  • 2nd way: save the publication without hashtags, copy the group of 30 hashtags and insert them into the comment under your post.
When to publish hashtags? Is it possible to use always the same hashtags? - Important to know!
  • The hashtags must be added at the moment of publication in Instagram or immediately after it, because the hashtag's feed is chronological. An easier explanation: the sooner you add hashtags after the post's publication, the more persons see your post in the feed of hashtags selected.
  • Instagram doesn't like when you use the same hashtags from post to post. Even if the theme of your posts remains the same, you can always choose different hashtags, because there are various elements in the photo. For example, if all your photos represent nature, the hashtags shouldn’t be only "nature", but could be also " sunset", "flower", "sky", "spring" etc.
  • To get more likes, use more general hashtags. For example "cafe" instead of "Starbucks". The hashtags on more general topics are more popular in Instagram, they have more viewings of posts and more likes.

Explanations

Method of calculating popularity and how to use it.
  • On Instagram the popularity of a particular hashtag is equal to the frequency of its use.
The frequency of use is the number of posts on Instagram with a specific hashtag.
It follows from this that the popularity of a set of hashtags is the total number of posts of all hashtags included in the set.
  • The more popular a hashtag set is, the more likes and followers you can get from it.
At the same time, the more popular a set of hashtags, the faster you have to add it to the description of the post or comment to it, because the feed of hashtags is chronological and posts on more popular hashtags quickly replace each other at the top of the feed.
How to understand and use color codes (red, orange, yellow)?
  • Red - High popularity - More than 10,000,000.
  • Orange - Average popularity - More than 1,000,000 and less than 10,000,000.
  • Yellow - Low popularity - Less than 1,000,000.

  • I found these equations in an obscure, 30-year old paper by a Japanese physicist, and with some modifications, I think they could be extremely useful to my research! That s part of what I love so much about science: you never know in what obscure corner of research(from any country or time period) you ll find a gem that helps you uncover just a little bit more about the universe. Knowledge is a collective project, and that s a beautiful thing.

  • You may have heard that deep inside of our brain we have a primitive lizard brain. It s a common myth that asked me to debunk for a blog series they re hosting on their website. The truth is that all vertebrates, from fish to lizards to humans, have the same overall brain structure. My article about this myth- and how it was spread by one of my heroes, Carl Sagan- is up on my blog. Link in bio!

  • Even in the head of the humble locust, there s a supercomputer more powerful than the Mars Rover. Our planet is brimming with computation. The neurons you see here at the bottom are part of a circuit that processes information about smell. At the top are the mushroom bodies of the locust brain, which are involved in storing information in memory. Both sets of neurons were imaged by being filled with stains, which allow us to see their complex, branching shapes. There s a lot going on here, but we re only getting a tiny, tiny glimpse of the full circuitry of this system! Image credit: Mark A. Stopfer, NIH

  • A lab-grown mini-brain! I think that these structures, called cerebral organoids, are a wonder of modern science. They were first developed by Madeline Lancaster in Austria, and now her technique is in use in labs around the world. It involves taking skin cells, turning them into stem cells, turning those stem cells into neurons, and then coaxing those neurons to reach out to one another to form a mini-brain. And, sure enough, electric currents begin to pulse and throb across these neural connections!. This raises profound scientific and philosophical questions. What code do these throbbing currents carry, if any What kind of mind, if any at all, do they give rise to There s only one thing we can be sure of: there are astounding discoveries on the horizon- and I feel so fortunate to be alive at a time when neuroscience is making such incredible advances! • We are, on the grand scale of things, unimaginably tiny organisms, clinging to the surface of a dust mote hurtling through space. And yet, on the inside, we are huge. We are more beautiful and complex than any star or planet or black hole, because inside our minds, we contain a whole universe of thought. I remind myself of that whenever I see these intricate webs of neurons, which are, I think, the most spectacular things in the known universe. Image credit: Christophe Leterrier, CNRS-AMU, Marseille

  • In 1986, researchers accomplished something incredible: they mapped the entire nervous system of an animal for the very first time. What you re seeing here is the result of that effort- every single connection between every single neuron in the brain of the C elegans roundworm. It remains, to this day, the only complete wiring diagram for the brain of any animal. This project led to wide-ranging discoveries about the structure of even our own brains, but we re far from understanding how this circuit produces the worm s behaviors. In other words, neural connections aren t everything- we have to understand the dynamics of activity along those connections, as well as the code carried by those dynamics. As always, there is so very much left to discover!

  • The inner ear and its connections to the brain, imaged with an MRI. This system is a gorgeous accomplishment of biological evolution: the ear transforms vibrations of air molecules into vibrations of liquid, then performs what s called a Fourier transform on this vibrating signal to decompose it into different frequencies, and then turns those physical vibrations at different frequencies into neural impulses. Those neural impulses then get sent to the brain- where the information they carry is somehow turned into the experience of sound. It s absolutely astounding. Image credit: K H Fung/Science Source

  • A time-lapse of what my day usually looks like. When I filmed this, I was coding up a few hundred simulations of electrical activity in different kinds of networks(not just brain networks). The reason I m running this simulation is so that I can check if my method for measuring large-scale information flow works for*any* kind of network, regardless of its structure(it s something a reviewer for my paper asked me to do, and I m glad that they did, because it s making my paper stronger!). But I wanted to post this to show that there are many different kinds of scientists- some wear lab coats, some run simulations, some solve equations, some ask survey questions, some study chemical reactions, some build equipment, some analyze data, etc. The list goes on and on! It takes all kinds of researchers- working together- to understand the world.

  • Grace Hopper was an American computer scientist and US Navy Rear Admiral. She s often referred to as the Admiral of the Cybersea or Amazing Grace for her many computing innovations. After earning her PhD in mathematics from Yale in 1934, she enlisted in the Navy and graduated first in her class and began working on the Mark I computer. In 1949, she recommended that a new programming language be developed using entirely English words, but was told very quickly that she couldn t do this because computers didn t understand English. Her idea wasn t accepted for 3 years. But by 1952, she had an operational compiler, A-0. That shut down the naysayers. A compiler is a computer program that converts code written in a language that programmers can understand to 0s and 1s for the computer to understand. She is also known for popularizing the term computer bug after she found an actual moth trapped in the Mark II Aiken Relay Calculator and deemed the machine debugged after retrieving the insect. Grace also developed the implementation of standards for testing computer systems and components for early programming languages like COBOL and FORTRAN.

Not only have I learnt new methods, tricks, tips and so on but also how to plan experiments, to carry them out and what s most important for me: how to stay still after even 10-12 hours in the lab a day. I took a part in numerous meetings and conferences where I met the brightest and sharpest minds in, and cell. My friends helped me to keep the balance and protected me from going slightly mad. We have thrown some great parties, celebrated weddings, watched best movies, talked out all nights. I ve found many inspirations in books, music, series and new places. What s more I made some of my dreams come true. As an old I celebrated my 26th Birthday on concert where I danced, jumped, sang and screamed until going mute! One month later I took my mother to: The Joshua Tree Tour Gig in Berlin and we were the happiest, overjoyed and thrilled women in the world. As the greatest Queen and Freddie Mercury Fan I paid the tribute to them strolling the streets of in where the band used to create their best hits. I visited also the Garden Lodge in where Freddie used to live with the love of his life. And finally I ve adopted a dog!. At the end of 2017 I m standing here much stronger, smarter, more confident, braver, filled with new ideas and prepared for new challenges in 2018!. I wish you a happy new year!. May-Britt pioneered research on the brain s mechanism for representing space. She won the Nobel Prize in 2014 for her discovery of grid cells in the entorhinal cortex and several other space representing neurons that make up the positioning system of the brain. She s studied correlations between the anatomical structure of the hippocampus and social learning in rats, which laid the foundation for new research into the cognitive and spacial deficits associated with neurological conditions such as Alzheimer s disease. Also, she accepted her Nobel Prize in a specially designed gown depicting grid cells, pretty awesome.

  • Carol W. Greider and Elizabeth Blackburn both won the 2009 Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine for their discovery that telomeres are protected from progressive shortening by the enzyme telomerase. An organism s genes are stored within DNA molecules, found in chromosomes inside the nuclei of cells. When cells divide, it s crucial their chromosomes be copied in full and not damaged or altered. At each end of a chromosome lies a cap of genetic material that protects it called a telomere. This is a great story of women in science supporting each other and working together to achieve amazing feats. Carol received her PhD from the University of California, Berkeley and Elizabeth was her supervisor. After Elizabeth discovered that telomeres have specific DNA that prevents chromosomal degradation, the two ladies worked together to discover telomerase, the enzyme that facilitates the production of the telomeres DNA.

  • This Fabulous Friday we are tipping our crown to Dr. Knatokie Ford, the founder and CEO of Fly Sci Enterprise. Fly Sci is a consulting agency that uses storytelling to change the discourse surrounding STEM fields as a career and promotes diversity in the STEM workforce.⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀ Prior to founding her organization, Dr. Ford was a Senior Policy Advisor at the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy(OSTP). In her role, she worked to improve the image of the STEM field and encourage careers in STEM. She held fellowships in STEM during her postdoctoral years, leading her path to the OSTP. She also served as a middle school teacher in South Central Los Angeles and even dabbled in a bit of acting!⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀ Since graduating with her doctorate degree from Harvard, Dr. Ford has been an advocate, positive spokeswoman, and role model for beautifying the image of the STEM field and encouraging diverse populations to apply their talents in the field. As a self-proclaimed former shy girl, she has overcome great obstacles to achieve her success and fight imposter syndrome(check out her TED talk on this!) Dr. Ford is an inspiration and a true STEM gem. We can t wait to see what her future holds!⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀ Cred: atlasofthefuture.org⠀⠀⠀⠀

The only optional ingredient that I failed to show in this picture is the protein. The protein is a great addition to make this not only healthier but much more filling. 1. In your blender add almond milk, honey(optional), frozen strawberries, 1/2 scoop of protein& a teaspoon of vanilla extract. Blend. 2. Pour into a mason jar and add 2-3 teaspoons of chia seeds. 3. Refrigerate in a mason jar with a sealed tight lid overnight. 4. In the morning top with fresh fruit, shaved almonds, granola, or whatever u like. Healthy, quick, and filling.

  • Class dismissed! Congratulations to all the new Temple R data scientists who are heading out to solve global problems. iEcoLab just finished teaching its first installment of the course: Quantitative Science to Solve Global Problems. Students learned R coding, Slack, GitHub, Google Suite and more while also exploring some of our most pressing global issues. Everyone then completed a final project, which ranged from deep sea conservation to educational inequality. We had several majors from across colleges take the course, and several seniors who are off to graduate school. Best of luck!.

  • Sharing Sunday: Here s a financial tip that helped me to pay off all my revolving debt. Have u heard of Dave Ramsey s Snowball Process Basically you write out all your revolving debt except for your mortgage. Start with the lowest balance and pay it off. Take the money that u were paying towards that bill and add it to your regular payment for the 2nd lowest balance. Repeat this method until all bills are at zero balance. Continue to pay minimum due on the other balances until u have extra money from paid off debt to add to them. When all balances are at zero, use this extra money to use as a 2nd principal payment on your car payment. Pay the regular payment then make a 2nd Principal Only payment. U will have ur car paid off a lot sooner with less interest paid.

Initially thought they were seeking a cozy place to die but learned that they were actually burrowing to lay eggs. I will be sharing my story of turning my life around, healing my auto immune condition after losing both my parents in less than a week. As well as how my book Mind Body Miracle saved my sisters life when she was unexpected diagnosed with stage 3c cancer. I have written the first draft of my speech and I have taken this line from it. Having strength in adversity is about recognising that the worst possible times put us directly on the path to the best and it is in these dark times that we grow most. Today I have huge gratitude for the challenges I have faced because they have built my strength and character, given me a resilience I never thought I could have and made me truly appreciative of the good times

Did you know that female scientists make up less than 0.3 of the workforce in Europe and the United States We re quite a unique bunch but unfortunately this allows stereotypes to flourish, as many people don t know any real female scientists. So this is my contribution to. Just a reminder that not all scientists work in labs and wear white coats. And even if they do, they don t do this all the time!. At the same time, I d like to give a shout out to all the awesome STEM communicators on Instagram, who are helping to dismantle stereotypes one post at a time! It s a great community to be part of.
