  • How many times did you heard this Eating too many eggs is bad for you! Eating eggs every day is bad for your cholesterol! After all this is not necessarily true, let s see why! The total number of eggs you should eat everyday will depend on the amount of protein and fats you should/want to ingest on that particular day. A whole egg contains roughly 6gr of protein and 5gr of fats(remember that this fat is actually good for your health and it s really tasty,at least for me) it also has numerous vitamins and minerals: A,E,D,K, folic acid, B12,B6,B2,B1,iron,phosphorus and zync,BUT IN FACT, all of the eggs vitamins ARE FOUND IN THE YOLK,this leads me to a question i get asked frequently. SHOULD I EAT THE WHOLE EGG OR JUST THE EGG WHITES My answer is always the same,YOU SHOULD EAT IT WHOLE! That s because of what i said above,all of the vitamins are in the yolk! Some people eat 2 per day, others 5, other like myself eat 8! THERE IS NO IDEAL NUMBER OF EGGS you should eat everyday, but there s different contexts and different proteins and fats needs for each individual or athlete!   • Creamy choccolate no bake cheesecake Ingridients( 2 boxes( around 20cm/10cm-16 portion)-1kg white blended quark-3 scoops of protein powder vanilla taste-1 small spoon of cinnamon-2 spoon of cocoa powder-few whole grain biscuits-25g of gelatine Additionally:-coffee 1 spoon mixed with water-2 x gelly-dark choccolate 2 cubes-stevia How to prepare Solve gelatine with 150ml of hot water and 2x gelly with half of recommended dose of water too(2 glasses). Prepare biscuits and put them into the coffee- water for a second, then into the boxes. Mix quark with protein powder,cinnamon, cocoa and gelatine( when its little colder). If you need add stevia powder. Move blended quark onto the biscuits and put into the fridge for around 30 minutes. Decoration: After this time cut banana( slices) and put them as a cover on a quark. Crush choccolate cube above and add jelly. Put everything to the fridge for a 30-60minites. Ready:) You can serce with whipped cream if you prefere;) Enjoy!

  • 4 days and no headache- this is a nice break and its so great to feel normal for a while. My holiday is approaching and I am feeling fat. I want to be 50kg again cause it felt good. So I have 5 weeks to go and 5 kg to lose. I know this is not realistic but I am gonna try to lose as much as I can.   • Chocolate& Coffee Mousse Chia Pudding Tag a friend who would love it! By For the chia base:-1/3 cup of chia seeds-¾ cup of almond milk-A dash of vanilla extract-1 tablespoon of maple syrup(optional) For the crumble layer:-½ cup of almond-5 pitted dates-1 tablespoon of cacao powder For the chocolate& coffee mousse:-¾ cup of cashew soaked for at least 8 hours or overnight-40 gr of good quality dark chocolate-2 tablespoon of strong brewed coffee-2 tablespoon of coconut cream-1/3 cup of almond milk-2 tablespoon of maple syrup Toppings:-Dark chocolate chunks-Cacao nibs Some crumbled cookies of your choice Start by chia pudding. Place the chia seeds into a bowl and add the almond milk, maple syrup and vanilla extract. Mix everything well together, I like to use a whisk to avoid any lumps. Once you have a smooth consistency place it in the fridge for at least 1 hour to thicken up. The chia pudding is ready when is thick and creamy and kid of gloopy consistency. To make the crumble layer: place all the ingredients into a food processor and blitz until you have a crumbly and slightly sticky mixture. Leave it onto one side. To make the mousse: drain and rinse the cashews, place them into a food processor and all the other ingredients. Add the coffee, coconut cream, almond milk, maple syrup(don t add the chocolate at this point). Blend everything until you have a creamy and smooth consistency. Scoop out about a bit less half of the mixture and place it into a bowl while you are making the chocolate layer. Add the melted chocolate to mixture in the blender and blend again until smooth. Make sure the other ingredients are room temperature and not straight from the fridge as the melted chocolate might split in reaction to that. To assemble: place half of chia pudding into each jar/ glass, add the nutty crumble and pour the coffee cream on top follow by the chocolate. Top with your favourite toppings and enjoy! If you like a thicker consistency you can refrigerate the parfaits(without toppings) for 1 hour. ENJOY

  • Smothered Baked Chicken Burritos By Easy Slow Cooker Shredded Mexican Chicken simmered with Mexican spices, salsa and green chilies for the BEST Mexican chicken perfect for tacos, burritos, tostadas, salads, etc. Couldn t be any easier! INGREDIENTS:-1 Recipe Slow Cooker Mexican Chicken-6 burrito size tortillas-1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese-Olive oilor nonstick cooking spray-Cheesy Green Chili Sour Cream Sauce-2 tablespoons olive oil-1 tablespoon butter-3 tablespoons flour-2 cups low sodium chicken broth, warmed-1/2 teaspoon cumin-1/2 teaspoon salt-1/4 teaspoon pepper-1/2 cup sour cream-1/24 oz. can mild chopped green chilies, or more to taste-1/2 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese-Hot sauce to taste(optional)-Optional Toppings-Tomatoes-Avocados/guacamole-Cilantro-Salsa-Tortilla strips or chips INSTRUCTION: Prepare Mexican Chicken according to recipe directions. Drain any excess liquid from chicken. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with foil and add a baking rack on top. Prepare burritos by adding a heaping 1/2 cup filling to each tortilla(uncooked if using raw tortillas), top with desired amount of cheese and roll up burrito style. Place burritos on the baking rack and brush both sides lightly with olive oil or spray with nonstick cooking spray. Cook for 18-20 minutes or until golden. Broil to desired crispiness, flip over and broil the other side until golden. Meanwhile, prepare Sauce by melting butter in olive oil in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Whisk in flour and cook, stirring constantly for 3 minutes. Reduce heat to low then gradually whisk in chicken broth. Add spices and bring to a simmer while stirring until thickened, about 2-3 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in green chilies, cheese until melted then sour cream. Add hot sauce to taste(optional). To serve, top burritos Cheesy Green Chili Sour Cream Sauce and desired toppings. ENJOY!

If you ll be hurting from today s night, try this to settle your stomach, quiet your headache, and rehydrate your body Ingredients:-2 large eggs-1/2 teaspoon olive oil-2 cups baby spinach-1/2 cup chopped tomatoes-1 tablespoon grated parmesan or goat cheese(optional)-Pinch salt/pepper Directions: 1. Whisk the eggs in a small bowl. Season with a pinch of salt and pepper and set aside. 2. Heat olive oil in a nonstick skillet over medium heat. Add spinach and tomatoes and cook, tossing, until wilted, about 2 minutes. 3. Add eggs. 4. Cook, stirring occasionally, until just set, about 1 minute. Stir in cheese(if using). Why it works: Pass up the hearty, greasy breakfast for this scramble. Eggs contain an amino acid, cysteine, that helps break down acetaldehyde, a toxin from alcohol metabolism. Spinach and tomatoes are packed with antioxidants and potassium, an electrolyte. Serve with 100 percent whole wheat bread for extra carbohydrates to help with nausea and low blood sugar.
