Method of calculating popularity and how to use it.
  • On Instagram the popularity of a particular hashtag is equal to the frequency of its use.
    The frequency of use is the number of posts on Instagram with a specific hashtag.
    It follows from this that the popularity of a set of hashtags is the total number of posts of all hashtags included in the set.
  • The more popular a hashtag set is, the more likes and followers you can get from it.

  • This is the really good tricep exercise that not a lot of people know about. It hits the largest part of the triceps which is the long head. Develop that and your arms will look more muscular. You can also go pretty heavy on it, since your shoulders can take the impact for when you come down. I only used 15 lbs here but my friend.luke used 60 lbs for example. I know this exercise because of him so thanks bro. Also the creator of it is so full credit goes to him. En el video explique cómo hacer este ejercicio para los triceps. Primero agarras unos dumbbells(cómo se dice en español) y te echas en la banca. De ahí pones todo firme, tus glúteos, y hombros más que todo. De ahí levantas las pesas, y las bajas lentamente hacia tus hombros mientras no mover tus codos. De ahí levantas de nuevo como hice en el video y ese es una repetición. Este ejercicio trabaja la cabeza larga(traducción de long head) del tricep, y este es la parte más grande del tricep. Si trabajas eso, tus brazos se verán mucho más musculosos. También es fácil usar mucho peso acá si quieres porque tus hombros pueden aguantar el impacto. Aquí solo use 15 libras(6.8 kilos) pero mi amigo.luke uso 60 libras(27 kilos). Mi amigo Nevin fue quien me enseñó este ejercicio, y el lo aprendió del creador.

  • Just trying to get some studying in for my personal training exam in a month exactly. I ve heard from multiple people that you kinda have to read the book page by page, which is hard because it s a big textbook. One thing I found is that reading any sort of material is easier if you do it on a treadmill lol. You just set the speed to 2.0 mph, or whatever s comfortable and put in some instrumental music if you like, and that makes reading a lot easier. Your brain is also a lot more receptive to the information since you got that blood pumping. Try it out if you ever have to read anything dense.   • Last week I was feeling a bit bleh and I only exercised twice maybe. I restarted fresh today(yay Mondays!) and it felt so good. It wasn t easy, my head wasn t in it at first and Alice kept crying. Had to press pause 5 or 6 times but I pushed through and ended up having such a good time. Working out with a 5 month-old baby at home can be hard and sometimes you ll find that you can t do the whole thing in one go- but that s ok!. Today I kept thinking how glad I am that I m also prioritising ME. I m 5 months into mumhood now and I can honestly say that not much changed. When you re pregnant the main thing you hear is be prepared because you ll no longer have me time and I don t think that s true if you make an effort. Pregnancy can be so overwhelming that you sometimes forget of who you were before getting pregnant- the things you can t eat, the things you can t do, the clothes that no longer fit you- it s as if you lose a bit of your identity. And then the baby is out and it s such a wonderful time, but it s still all about your baby. Unless you make an effort to make it about you too. And the more I do it, the more I think that s the most selfless thing I could do. Staying at home can be hard- not because it s a difficult job to care for your baby but mainly because it s lonely. I find on the days I don t take care of myself that feeling of loneliness overpowers everything else and no matter how much I love my baby I end up smiling less. But on the days that I do the things I love, happiness overpowers everything else. It doesn t matter how much my baby cries, if it s raining outside or if I wasn t able to leave the house the whole day, I m just happy. Because I feel good about myself, I love my family and that s what matters. I added a little snipped of today s workout on my stories and you can see Alice smiling throughout it when I sat her next to me. She had so much fun. It made me realise that sometimes me time can be with you both, it doesn t need to be one or the other. And it s so worth it.

  • Today was the first day of my sports nutrition class. One thing we learned is how many calories per gram there are in each of the food groups. So 1 gram of fats gives you 9 calories, 1 gram of carbs gives you 4 calories and 1 gram of protein gives you 4 calories. A calorie is a unit of heat energy, and from calories we get energy for everything and anything we do. One thing I didn t know is that one gram of alcohol gives you 7 calories. I always thought it was the same as carbs(4). So I guess that s why alcohol is said to fatten you up and you that beer belly. Hoy fue mi primer día en mi clase de nutrición deportiva.
